Knowing how to care for your garments can be tricky; with so many fabrics it can be difficult to know exactly what method of washing and drying works best for each product. We wanted to simplify this for you by making a concise collection of care instructions for each of our Art Of Where products that you can pass onto your customers and use for your own personal items. We’ve created a code system, with each code relating to different care instructions. The codes are written below, and each item that requires that code’s care instructions are listed underneath each code description.

Looking at the codes above you can see, for example, that the yoga leggings should be treated as a Code 4 item, meaning you should “Machine wash on a regular cycle with a mild detergent. Tumble dry on a regular setting. Do not bleach. Can be dry cleaned. Iron on regular to high heat setting.” The matte crepe scarf, however, is a Code 3 item, which has the following care instructions: “For garments with fringe, hand wash only with a mild detergent and hang to dry. For non-fringe garments, machine wash delicate cycle or by hand in cold water. Hang to dry or tumble dry on low heat. Do not bleach. Can be dry cleaned. Iron on low heat setting.”
